Drying Chamber

Drying Chamber

As you can see in this photo, a property had flooded due to a recent storm event. SERVPRO of Pewaukee and Sussex set up a drying chamber around the wood paneling and the drywall that was behind it.  When you need to isolate a certain area for drying treatment, then this is where drying chambers come into play. They allow you to manipulate the humidity, airflow, and temperature. The affected area becomes limited to external, environmental factors due to the polyethylene barrier that surrounds it.

Storm Flooding in Waukesha

Storm Flooding in Waukesha

This flooding was due to a storm event lasting two days in the Waukesha County Area in Wisconsin. In events such as this, a sump pump can fail to keep up. Make sure to maintain your sump pump and check its parts often.

If you have flooding in your basement in the Waukesha County area, call SERVPRO of Pewaukee & Sussex at 262.696.6336.

Major Flooding of Basement

No Water Damage is Too Big For Us

This basement flooded in Waterford, Wi was the result of a derecho that hit the SE Wisconsin area. The flooding at this house was so severe that it began to come up into the stairs leading into the upper portion of the house. It was around six to seven feet deep. Our crew used a 2 inch trash pump to extract all the water so that drying could be done.

If your basement floods and you need assistance, call SERVPRO of Pewaukee & Sussex.

Weighted Extraction

Weighted Extraction in Sussex, Wisconsin

A finished basement had flooded in Sussex, Wisconsin due to a storm. Weighted extraction was used. You can see by using this extraction method that the extraction of the water is highly successful. Extraction is a critical step to removing moisture from a structure. The more excess water that restorers remove with extraction equipment, the less time they will spend to evaporate and dehumidify the remaining moisture with drying equipment.
